Tardy and Early Dismissals

When children enter school after the tardy bell, they are to report to the office for an admission slip to class. The student is marked absent for the entire day if he/she comes in after 11:30 AM or receives and early dismissal before 11:30 a.m.  Students will not be released for an early dismissal after 2:00 p.m.

Please make every effort to be on time each morning. It is very important the students receive the full amount of instruction the state requires each day. Students who are late to class disrupt the learning environment and it is distracting to others. In an effort to help parents, we will again unload cars 15 minutes early this year. Students may not be dropped off or left unattended.

Unload cars 7:45 a.m. Students will get their breakfast and eat in the classroom. 

Report to class 7:45 a.m.

Tardy bell rings 8:05 a.m. Students must be in the classroom when the bell rings.

MCPSS Student/Parent Handbook and Code of Conduct

All students will be given a copy of the MCPSS Student/Parent Handbook and Code of Conduct. Students and Parents are responsible for reading and following all policies. Students and Parents are required to sign the completion form and return it to their teacher.
